The San Diego Chapter MATHCOUNTS Competition is part of a national event for middle school students www.mathcounts.org. The students compete individually and in teams during three written tests in the morning and the top students compete head-to-head in the afternoon after a lunch break.
We are looking for proctors to administer the written tests and graders to grade them. No special knowledge of math is necessary. Training for proctors is at 8:30 am and training for graders will take place at 9:30 am. Proctors finish their duties a 12 noon with the graders finishing by 2 pm.
Volunteers will be send an information sheet with all the details regarding participation.
