Those with excellent customer service skills work together to provide the best possible experience to all shelter visitors and are the "face" of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. The various roles assist with the daily public needs, including greeting and directing people through the shelter, data entry, answering phone calls, processing adoptions and licenses, and assisting with vaccine and spay-and-neuter clinics. Based on your skills, we can direct you to the best assignment fit for you in this critical area of the shelter. Because this area is so crucial to the customer’s experience, being active and on the schedule is very important to keep skills fresh and knowledge accurate and up-to-date. Customer Service Roles include: Front Desk, Adoption Coordinator, Ambassador and Volunteer Point Person.
