Allegro Foundation...a Champion for Children with Disabilities is holding our First Annual Aim High Clay Classic at Meadow Wood Farm (2732 Monroe Highway Lancaster, SC 29720). This event is scheduled for Friday, March 9th, 2018. Volunteers are needed to assist with food/beverage pick-up and delivery, and score keeping. It's sure to be a fun day! Come out and join us!

Mission Statement
Allegro Foundation... a Champion for Children with Disabilities is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization that combines movement instruction with medical and educational expertise, creating new techniques to teach children with disabilities and enhance their quality of life. Allegro teaches more than 700 children with intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, orthopedic challenges (wheelchairs and walkers), Spina bifida, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, muscular dystrophy, visual and hearing impairments, children "at-risk", and children with cancer in FREE classes every week!
Description
The teaching assistant will be working one on one with a child with a disability or a child "at risk". Classes are held once a week throughout Charlotte and are thirty minutes long. A volunteer will assist a child with a disability by steadying them if they appear to be unstable, demonstrating techniques they are not familiar with, and most importantly, being a friend.
