Assist library staff in setting-up and taking-down for special, large programs at the Library (e.g. concerts, children's program performers). Volunteer tasks include helping staff: move furniture and mobile bookcases, arranging seating and performance space, and greeting and assisting customers with seating before and during concert, and restoring furniture's placement in the library following events.
An ideal volunteer:
- Able to lift 25 pounds
- Able to volunteer at least once a month for 3 hours (i.e. before, during, and after an event) at a time.
