Community Ambassadors support AARP’s issues and strategic priorities in local communities by serving as the messenger at member and community events. Volunteers conduct education and outreach at a variety of events. Volunteers assist with ongoing events including Movies For Grownups, AARP On Tap, and Bike Rides. In addition, AARP sponsors unique events like the Twin Cities Jazz Festival, Twin Cities Pride, St. Paul Classic, Movie at CHS Field, Open Streets Minneapolis.
AARP has a wide variety of volunteer events available. Our volunteer events provide you with a ready-made social outlet as you get to interact with fellow volunteers and event attendees from all walks of life.
