Be trained by our Bereavement Team in providing comfort, care and compassion to grieving families and caregivers.

Roles and responsibilities of Bereavement Support Volunteers may include:

  • Assisting with bereavement admin projects and tasks
  • Calling families and caregivers for follow up support & Support Group reminders
  • Potential to be asked to Co-Facilitate grief support groups (after a training)
  • Participate in the planning & organization of an annual memorial celebration to support families and caregivers
