Be trained by our Bereavement Team in providing comfort, care and compassion to grieving families and caregivers.
Roles and responsibilities of Bereavement Support Volunteers may include:
- Assisting with bereavement admin projects and tasks
- Calling families and caregivers for follow up support & Support Group reminders
- Potential to be asked to Co-Facilitate grief support groups (after a training)
- Participate in the planning & organization of an annual memorial celebration to support families and caregivers

Our care teams specialize in pain and symptom management, as well as emotional and spiritual support for the patient and family.
