The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the number one walk in the country raising awareness and funds to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This year, Best Buddies Nevada will be hosting our inaugural Best Buddies Friendship Walk Drive Thru Parade! Guests and supporters will drive by our booths, entertainment, etc. safely as we celebrate friendship and inclusion in our community.
Volunteers will be needed for the day of the event for areas such as:
- Registration/check in
- Check in queue support
- Set-Up and Tear down of event
- Directional support for Drive Thru Parade route
- Greeters
- Drive Thru Parade route rallier/cheerleader
- Station/booth support

Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
