About

We are looking for an intern who is interested in disaster relief/humanitarian aid and wants to gain experience in, and exposure to, domestic and international rapid response operations. As a small organization, you would have the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of day-to-day operations and support national and international deployments from headquarters. You would report directly to the Executive Director.

Tasks and responsibilities would include, but would not be exclusive to :

  • Supporting online communications efforts in 'blue-sky' contexts as well as during deployments
  • Updating and managing content for our GlobalGiving projects (https://www.globalgiving.org/donate/8287/fuel-relief-fund/)
  • Managing our in-house CRM database of donor and relief-related contacts
  • Supporting our annual fundraiser and other smaller charity events
