Cultured Kids is a non-profit organization that designs education programs that help schools model and teach cultural empathy, understanding, and respect. In addition we are focused on developing programs that will engage students in 21st century skills, help to close the achievement gap, and challenge students to develop intercultural communication skills and international collaboration.

This year will be a year of transition for our organization. We are working on transferring our current curricula to a digital platform, are working on our first large scale project that will be introduced to directors of ed at Boston Public Schools and Fairfax County Schools, and are working through Board Development.

The research required for the organization is growing beyond our current capabilities. We are looking for a professional to join our board who is willing to develop and lead the research that is needed to affirm our chosen projects are valid and worth while and to evaluate the outcomes of the work we are doing.

We are asking board members to commit to a 2-year term, to be available for quarterly board meetings and an annual face to face group gathering.
