Cultured Kids is a non-profit organization that designs education programs that help schools model and teach cultural empathy, understanding, and respect. We are currently working out of two locations: Boston, MA and NOVA/DC Metro.
This year is a very transitional year for us. We are working through a rebranding phase - changing our direction to focus on getting any curricula we develop on a digital platform for educators globally to have access to. We are also working through Board Development.
Up until this point we have not secured protection of our logo or any of our materials. Additionally, we believe it will be important for us to have out volunteers/interns sigh a non-disclosure agreement for their time working with us to develop new materials.
This board position will require 3-5 hours/week of volunteer time that could be done remotely, although Co-founder/CEO & Board President will be available for meeting as needed. We are requesting a 2 year term, presence at quarterly board meetings, and at an annual face to face gathering.
