The Pillowcase Project needs volunteers to go into local schools in the Elkhart/Mishawaka/South Bend area to present to students in grades 4-5 about home emergency safety. In this position, volunteers have the opportunity to teach about what to do in extreme weather, coping mechanisms, and how to talk about fire alarms to their families. The goal is to raise resiliency in the community on what to do when disasters happen at home.
