Feel the Beat is a dance studio for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. We are focused on building a community for these children where they can learn and experience the art of dance in their native language along with providing an opportunity to connect with their peers. We have developed a curriculum that incorporates a combination of touch, Sign Language and a one-of-a-kind vibrating dance floor. As we build this community up we want it to be known that we offer dance for ALL!
Feel the Beat is looking for awesome, passionate, dedicated board members to help up make an impact! Board members are required to come to a monthly board meeting and complete small projects of their choosing between meetings. We need your help to reach more families, improve our programming, and get the community moving!
Board members must be able to attend a monthly meeting. Typically on the third Tuesday of the month.
Volunteer for and complete periodic tasks of your choice.
