We are currently looking for volunteers to join our friendly and supportive team! Our patients are terminally ill and would benefit from compassionate individuals that are willing to bring comfort and joy while they take the final path of their life. We’re looking for individuals willing to call our patients or their families to check on their well-being and/or provide additional support.
There is also opportunity to visit our patients in person if you're interested! In person visits may include providing companionship, brief relief to caregivers, or helping with light household chores to our patients, families and/or caregivers. It could also include reading to a patient, listening to music with a patient, playing cards or board games, sharing photos, or just sitting quietly to provide the gift of presence. We, of course, would provide all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment necessary to keep you safe!
Your gift of time will allow someone to feel cared for during their final stage in life, and hopefully you will create lasting memories for our patients, their families, and for yourself! Come make a difference in someone's life.
If you are unable or uncomfortable interacting with patients or families, we are also looking for people to help around the office with clerical work. All volunteers will be provided with training prior to providing service. Contact us today!
