The Dublin Heritage Park and Museums is looking for individuals willing to assist with ongoing archival and collections management projects. Would you like to work with and assist in cataloging collections, database entry, reorganization, identification of historic photographs? We will provide all the training you need. The work is usually done independently so if you enjoy quiet time working with historic materials this is your opportunity. The time is flexible and a schedule to your liking can be arranged. If you think you would be interested in working on any of these projects we would greatly appreciate the help. Please visit http://dublin.ca.gov/274/Looking-to-Volunteer for an application. Description
The Dublin Heritage Park and Museums is a 10-acre park with 7 historic buildings, lawns, a historic cemetery, and picnic areas, open to the public during daylight hours. There are two museums: the 1856 Murray Schoolhouse, which houses a permanent exhibit on Dublin's history; and the Kolb House, a historic house museum. Other properties on the site include the 1859 St. Raymond Church, the Kolb Sunday School Barn, and the Dublin Pioneer Cemetery.
