We are looking for 1-2 volunteers to pick up supplies from a local store near Tacoma Mall and transport back to PCAF (Tacoma office) for distribution to our clients. We need someone with a truck or bigger capacity car, who can lift boxes repeatedly, up to 30#. Pick up dates are vary, but happen towards the end of the month on Thursday or Friday and vary in quantity.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have a valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
- Consistent access to vehicle
Training: All PCAF volunteers must attend New Volunteer Orientation and complete a criminal background check.
Benefits: Volunteers will gain knowledge about PCAF and HIV/AIDS through orientation. Volunteers will make a difference at the agency by helping provide nutiritonal food to clients.

PCAF, through education and service, prevents HIV infection, assists persons affected by HIV/AIDS, addresses related health problems, and combats associated stigma and discrimination.
Description
PCAF is a non-profit organization established in 1987 to respond to the needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS. In 2012 PCAF expanded its services by establishing a second office in Olympia, Washington. Today, PCAF serves Pierce, Thurston, and Lewis Counties.
PCAF is dedicated to assisting persons living with HIV/AIDS to meet their needs for food, housing, healthcare and personal support. PCAF provides personalized case management services to people living with HIV/AIDS and extensive outreach/education/prevention programming to help stop the spread of HIV and combat HIV related stigma.
