YWCA Dayton is looking for friendly and committed volunteers who would like to assist in running the food pantry for our residents. You do not need to have a background in food service, just minimal computer knowledge, and willingness to assist the community.
Pantry Hours
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays
1pm - 3pm
Duties
Opening and/or closing the pantry. Checking and recording the temperatures of the freezer and refrigerator. Stocking food donations. Checking residents into the Pantry Track database when they arrive. Assist residents as they move throughout the pantry.
Attire
Business Casual
Requirements
Orientation and free background check. Minimum of a 2 hour commitment each pantry shift.
