We are looking for volunteers to install smoke alarms in at-risk houses in order to reduce injuries due to fires in South Bend. Volunteers should be willing to offer a few hours a month to go to smoke alarm installations around the city and be accompanied by a local fireman. These installations are scheduled appointments and arranged with the home owners. Once trained, you can give us times that you are available each month and when people call for appointments, we can send their information to you.
