About

Our Brighton Beach food pantry helps individuals in the community experiencing food insecurity. We serve many seniors, immigrants, and Holocaust victims.

Volunteers assist food pantry clients with using a new digital program on an iPad. This program allows clients to select which food items they want and do not want for their family, giving them more choice and autonomy, and also reducing food waste.

Dates/Times: Thursdays 9:15 - 2:00, with the option for coming only once or on a repeating-basis, depending on what best suits your schedule.

Location: The pantry is located about 2 minutes away from the Brighton Beach stop on the B/Q line.

The head of the pantry always orders a free pizza lunch for everyone assisting.
