The Farmstead Arts Center offers art classes, lectures, theater productions, and special events throughout the year. We rely on an organized, thoughtful support team in order to keep the center up and running.
Both volunteer positions and internships are available. Volunteers are mostly needed for event help - setting up, ticket sales, etc. Volunteers can also help with behind-the-scenes work, such as historic research, marketing, fundraising, etc. To apply, please fill out the volunteer application (available at https://farmsteadartscenter.org/contact-us/membership-form/volunteer/) and e-mail it to Kathy Harris at admin@farmsteadarts.org.
Internships are centered on the intersection of an intern's interests and the Farmstead's needs. Previous interns have worked on marketing, general administration, grant research/writing, and more. Please fill out the internship application (available at https://farmsteadartscenter.org/internships/) and e-mail it to Kathy Harris at admin@farmsteadarts.org. Feel free to include any additional information (an introduction, a resume, work samples, etc.).
High school students are welcome.
