WhenIt's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.
Where180 South Warren StMonmouth, OR 97361
NorthWest Senior and Disability Services recently opened at the Monmouth Senior Center a bilingual, Spanish and English, dining center serving anyone 60 years and older.
Lunch is served every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 am, where seniors have the opportunity to choose from an array of nutritious entrées and participate in activities.
Our meal site needs your help from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, times are flexible and vary depending on job duty.
As a volunteer you can:
Help in the kitchen by packaging meals for delivery.
Pick up meals at our location and hand-deliver them directly to seniors' homes. One volunteer drives the route accompanied by another volunteer who delivers "walks" the meal to the senior's door step.
Serve food, wash dishes and clean up at the meal site.
Help promote, plan, and lead activities during the lunch hour.
