During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Alzheimer's Association Western Carolina
Care & Support Volunteers provide direct, hands-on assistance with those living with Alzheimer's and related dementia, caregivers, and the general public.
How many individuals and families in your faith community (church, synagogue, mosque) are affected by memory related diseases, Alzheimer's, or dementia? How many of them know where to go? Have someone to talk to? Have access to area resources and support? How many are so busy being caregivers, raising children, and working that they can't seem to find the time to get help? Help us fill this gap and meet their needs!
Alzheimer's Association Faith Outreach Representatives (FOR) serve within their own faith communities by raising awareness, delivering educational programs, and assuring congregants have access to information and resources. Interested individuals will make a year commitment to serve as a liaison between their own faith community and the Alzheimer’s Association - Western Carolina Chapter.
