KNCB is looking for volunteers or interns who can assist in our spring beautification program. The program is the Clean Cities Sweep (CCS) Program and it is held from February until May. There were over 20,000 volunteers in North Charleston who participated last year. These volunteers picked up pounds of litter, planted flowers and trees to make the North Charleston community more beautiful. We need volunteers who excel at writing and communicating.
The volunteers we are looking for need to be organized with a great attitude. Some of the tasks that will need to be done are packing supply kits, putting together information kits for the group, folding t-shirts, communicating with registered volunteers, writing summaries to include on a website that other groups can reference to help with planning their CCS projects, and other things to support the CCS. Volunteers may select the tasks they prefer to complete.

Keep North Charleston Beautiful was founded in 2000. KNCB is a [501(c)(3)] non-profit organization and an award-winning affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. Programs include community cleanups, beautification activities, the Adopt A Park program, Litter League, and the Great American Cleanup.
