Do You Have Musical Talent?
Seeking Music Volunteers to Visit Our Patients

Can you play a guitar, banjo, key board or any other instrument or can you sing?

Then we can use You on Our Volunteer Team for Music Therapy.

Did you know that Music is a Universal Language that our patients understand it no matter where they are in their journey? They enjoy listening, singing along, clapping, tapping their toes, doing chair exercises to the music and some of them even get up and dance to the music.

Music is very therapeutic for them, it brightens up their day and lifts up their spirits.

We do Special Events for our patients at Group Homes and Assisted Livings and could use musical entertainment at those events. You will be visiting and playing for the patients and their families in person which are located Valley-wide.

You can also play your instrument at the bedside of patients at the end of their life. This can be a huge blessing and comfort to the patients as well as their loved loves during that time.

We offer flexible schedules to meet your availability with limited minimum time requirements. Our volunteers can visit our patients any day of the week including weekends, it’s what fits your schedule.

So if you want to share your musical talents, Please Contact Our Volunteer Coordinator for more information.

Please Call Betty at: 480-750-4008 or Email: kschoose@veracare.com

We are also looking for Direct Care Volunteers, Veteran Volunteers and as well as Pet Therapy Volunteers
