Love Mutts Rescue is participating in the St. Pawtrick's Day Party/Fundraiser at Just Dog People this Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 12-3pm. this event features games and prizes, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and Sami's Street Eats food truck! All proceeds from the auction and raffle will go to Love Mutts Rescue. We will be bringing some of our adoptable dogs to this event and are in need of several volunteers to help us with the animals that are attending. We have some wonderful adult dogs and puppies that we are planning to bring to this event and will need "all hands on deck"! If you are looking for something meaningful to be a part of, come out and volunteer with us! If you are in need of community service hours for school or work, we would be happy to have you!
The store is located at 91 Glen Road, Garner, NC 27529. Volunteers are needed to help set up for the event (only take 10-15 minutes), so if you could arrive a few minutes prior to the event start time, that would be great! During the event, volunteers will be responsible for making sure that dogs are safe and securely on leash at all times, taken for potty and water breaks, etc. (of course extra love and attention is encouraged, too!) Our Director and other foster parents attend each event and will be able to provide information about the dogs that are at the event to anyone who stops by and that have questions. (The event is being held inside/outside; masks may be required and social distancing will be observed).


The animals in our rescue have been saved from shelters and other not so good circumstances and are looking for their 2nd chance at happiness...it is our mission to help them along the way! These events are a great opportunity for these furbabies to gain exposure and also helps them develop more confidence and better socialization skills, which all play vital roles in them finding their furever homes.
