About:

We are a small faith-based organization that cares for orphans in Cameroon, Africa and develops leaders around the world. We are in the process of revamping our website and are looking for a SEO Specialist volunteer who can analyze, review and implement changes to our website so it is optimized for search engines. We are hoping to maximize the traffic to our site by improving page rank within search engines. Previous experience is a must and we will ask for examples of other sites you have helped optimize.

Details:

• 5-10 hours a week for at least 6 months
• Can be virtual
• Flexible according to your schedule

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience in content marketing, content growth, and SEO
• Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices
• Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Familiarization Google analytics
• Experience with website optimization tools
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills

Duties May Include:

• Prioritize and develop relevant and engaging content.
• Research and include keyword or phrases that increase traffic to our site.
• Conduct various testing methods in design, layout and advertising techniques in order to gain the most organic and paid traffic.
• Writing powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors.
• Analyze websites for improvements.
• Developing link building strategies.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of keyword research.
• Understand SEO copywriting.
