ORGANIZATION: The Marine Environmental Education Center

MEEC

The Marine Environmental Education Center (the MEEC), located at the Carpenter House, is seeking volunteers to help out with day-to-day tasks throughout the center. This includes, but is not limited to, docenting (greeting visitors, answering questions, giving tours, giving talks, etc.), aiding with school programs, pool maintenance and cleaning, help in the gift shop, etc.

We are looking for volunteers ages 16 and older that are available to volunteer at least one day a month (or more!) during our hours of operation. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Shifts would consist of either 9:30am-1:30pm, 1:30pm-5:30pm, OR a full day (9:30am-5:30pm).
