Seattle's Goodwill is hosting a career fair for youth and young adults that includes not only career opportunities but also education and employment opportunities.
This event is a great opportunity for youths and young adults aged 16 - 24 to come meet with employers, learn about educational opportunities and connect with colleges, and learn about steps they can take to start their careers. This event will also feature on the spot interviews and workshops for the participants.
The event will expect 500+ youth and young adults.
When: The event is from 1pm-4pm. Volunteers are expected to come by 11:30am.
Where: Goodwill Job Training Center
Who: None of the volunteers are expected to apply! Feel free to bring friends and family (Ages: 18+)
- Best for Adults looking to connect teens/young adults to employment opportunities
- Volunteer Roles include: Check-In, Collecting Surveys, Facilitating Orientation, Checking on Vendors, Directing traffic, floaters etc.
- Tasks will involve friendly interactions with teens and young people. This opportunity for people who are not easily stressed out by large groups of people.

The Y Social Impact Center offer services at dozens of program sites in Seattle and King County, building stronger community as part of the YMCA of Greater Seattle’s family of branches and camps. Since 1973, the Y Social Impact Center (formerly Accelerator and Metrocenter) has been a catalyst for sparking young people to build self-confidence, resilience and hope, and to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
The Social Impact Center provides a full spectrum of programming that engages young people from different socioeconomic backgrounds and life experiences. 40 years and counting, the Y continues to provide innovative opportunities for youth to become healthier, make better choices, participate in life-changing leadership experiences, and create stronger communities.
