Would you like to help transport dogs from shelters to rescue home base where fosters can pick up their dogs?
Transporters are a critical part of our mission to help get dogs out of the shelter, who are often times waiting for euthanization, to our rescue meeting location. New Love Animal Rescue is located in Herndon VA and our transports meet in Staunton, VA and Richmond, VA. Trips are approximately 4.5 hours round trip.
Most transports are small with 1 to 5 dogs. Other transports may be larger. Volunteers can sign up for what their vehicle can accomodate.

Mission Statement
New Love Rescue is dedicated to finding homes for animals in need. We focus on dogs from high-kill shelters, abandoned on the streets and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians and trainers we are able to provide them with loving care, heal their wounds, support our community and carefully screen for new forever homes. We also aim to educate our community by providing information on responsible pet ownership, importance of spay and neuter, positive reinforcement training, good nutrition and the understanding that it is not always feasible to keep a pet in their current home.
