Love the Library? Volunteer at the South Branch Library!
The South Library is looking for volunteers to act as lead teachers or tutors for its Citizenship Classes. The South Branch Library and Catholic Charities are collaborating to offer these courses at the South Library.
This citizenship program offers FREE Civics and Literacy classes. The classes include FREE Interview Preparation for adults eligible for the Naturalization process.
The new semester starts at the South Library in October. Volunteer training will occur prior to the beginning of the new semester. Volunteers must be available on either Monday or Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm for 10 weeks. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
