Work with our Social Worker and volunteer as a Hospice Volunteer!
Volunteer to help a hospice patient or family member make their days easier.
A hospice volunteer can provide any of the following services or decline any request for service that you cannot or do not want to do:

• Visits on a weekly basis, providing companionship
• Provide a break for caregivers by staying with the patient
• Run errands
• Sending or Delivering holiday cards (Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas, Valentines Day, etc.)

Volunteers set their own level of commitment based on their schedule and flexibility. While our office is located in Lenexa, opportunities for involvement are located throughout the county.

NO prior medical experience is required.

For those looking into entering a social work program, nursing program, or medical program, this is an excellent opportunity for you to gain hands on clinical experience while making a difference!
