Front Desk Assistant
As the Front Desk Assistant Volunteer for GPA, you will assist our Office Assistant with essential duties to ensure the school’s students and parents are well-taken care of.
Daily Tasks
- Assist students by writing tardy slips during morning arrivals
- Photocopy enrollment forms
- Assist in fulfilling Record Requests, both in person and over the phone
- Receiving, sorting and distributing mail
- Receiving, tracking and organizing FedEx & UPS packages
- Organize supplies and track used items for re-ordering
- Update cum files
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrate strong leadership
- Be a self-motivated with ability to take instruction
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a diverse group of students and parents
- Desire to assist others
- Knowledge of basic Word, Excel and Google

Description
Global Preparatory Academy @ Riverside 44 uses both English and Spanish to instruct students in all core content areas. As a dual language school, we connect students from diverse linguistic backgrounds and educate them together in a highly rigorous, engaging and nurturing environment. Students will develop high levels of bilingualism and bi-literacy. Through two-way immersion (TWI) in English and Spanish, students will affirm the values of their own cultures while acquiring an understanding and appreciation of other cultures. We are committed to providing relevant instruction, pushing our students to be critical thinkers and change makers in an ever-changing world.
