Service with a Smile--Lunch Volunteer

Here is a simple way you and your colleagues can make a difference. We need you to donate about an hour of your time to help serve hot, nutritious meals to the tables where our clients are gathered for lunch. At lunchtime the room literally hums with the sound of several different languages as well as the universal communication that happens when people share good food with friends. We call this volunteer opportunity "Service with a Smile" because our seniors so appreciate kind gestures, and you’ll be beaming, too, when you see what a difference you can make just by donning an apron and hairnet!

We are looking for teams of two to four team members to serve lunch on a weekday from 11:20 to 12:30.
Our process is for volunteer teams to sign up for a single date and then consider the possibility of an ongoing commitment (monthly, quarterly, or as it fits your schedule). The feedback we receive from volunteers is that they consider their time with ISC seniors to be memorable and personally meaningful, and we are confident that your team will find the same value in their service here.

We really appreciate your consideration to partner with us to give back to a fragile community that needs and appreciates our care and support.
