ORGANIZATION: Asian Counseling and Referral Service

Help clients with mental illness achieve personal wellness and maximum independence!

Number of Positions: 1

Position Hours: Monday - Friday Hours are flexible between 8 - 3 P.M.
Requirements: Patience and empathy, Proficiency in Asian language preferred.
Age Requirement: 18 Duration Requirement: 10 - 15 hours per week for at least three months 3 months

Support, plan and lead wellness activities and pre-vocational training programs, conduct and co-facilitate daily life skills training, supervise and assist clients in the pre-vocational training programs (e.g. food preparation and kitchen maintenance). Conduct on-going person-centered assessment of clients and recommend changes in service care plans to case managers as needed. Proficiency in Asian language preferred; Provide translation/interpretation services as appropriate. Participate in in-service training, committees, meetings and conferences as appropriate.

ACRS is the largest multiservice organization serving all the different Asian Pacific American communities - immigrants, refugees and American born - in the Pacific Northwest.
