Event Description: You're invited to help us prep for this year's plant growing season. Volunteers are needed to assist with a sustainability project by washing plant pots and trays at the City of Raleigh Greenhouse. We will have 4 volunteer workdays:

• Wednesday, February 7 from 1-4pm
• Wednesday, February 14 from 1-4pm
• Wednesday, February 21 from 1-4pm
• Wednesday, February 28 from 1-4pm

Volunteer Duties: Washing plant pots and trays. You will be provided brushes, water, and cleaning items. You will be working around tubs of water so dress accordingly.

Work Environment: Working indoors at the Greenhouse and on some uneven surfaces. You will be standing for long period of time. Please wear sturdy, closed toe shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Staff will provide gloves, tools and first aid kit with sunscreen and insect repellent

Volunteers must be at least 15 to volunteer. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

**Registration as a volunteer is first come, first served. All volunteers must register as individuals, but if you are a part of a group, please list the group in the "Registration Notes" when signing up. **

All volunteers must fill out a volunteer release form that will be sent to them prior to the event along with additional information to prepare you for your volunteer workday.

Per Department Policy, this opportunity is not available for court-appointed or suggested community service hours.
