Oregon Outreach Inc. is a small alternative school with multiple programs in Multnomah, Clackamas and Columbia Counties. We are looking for an adult that would volunteer in our Vernonia Academy classroom on Fridays.
Our classroom averages about 12 students, and we are in need of an adult to support our on site Teacher. Job duties would include:
- Helping students stay on task during independent work time
- Assist teacher in monitoring behavior and redirecting as needed
- Help develop positive and appropriate relationships between students and adults
- Model positive behavior and responses
This position would be from 8:45 am to 12:00 on Fridays only. Volunteers must be able to pass a background check. This is not currently a paid position, however has the possibility of becoming one in the future.
