ORGANIZATION: PAULDING CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER INC

  • 4 people are interested

The Paulding Child Advocacy Center holds special case staffing meetings every couple of weeks. A number of community professionals involved with, (or possessing a specific expertise to provide information and support), attend these meetings. The meetings are typically held from 11am-1pm which cuts into the lunch hour for many attendees. Some attendees can bring their lunch, while others are unable to do so. We are seeking people or clubs/civic groups who might be willing to donate lunches from time to time. Whether by donating cash or gift cards, or preparing and delivering a meal - we'd be thankful for any type of support.

The Paulding Child Center serves children from all walks of life, and many of them have been hurt and are living in situations that no child should ever have to be in. We provide forensic interview services to aid in the investigation of abuse allegations, and help connect children and families to the many support services offered in our community. We are proud to work collaboratively with a number of other community agencies that also serve children and families - all seeking to ensure that children are safe and well.
The Center also makes efforts to provide outreach education and advocacy within the community. We believe that child abuse prevention and awareness is crucial to protecting children.
