We are looking for high school students, college students, retirees, or retired teachers who would be available for at least 4 hours per week to work with students ages 4-13 during our Summer Activities & Vocational Enrichment Program You will be working with groups of students teaching them one of the following subjects: Art, Music, Cultural Awareness, Computer Technology or Reading. ACSI exists to educate, empower, encourage and raise awareness of those who are vulnerable and economically and technologically disadvantaged.
Description
ACSI is a nonprofit 501c3 organization situated in Groveland, Florida USA. We provide various training to include programs for Single Women with Children, Youth Skills for Life that includes Job Preparation, Experiential Learning, Computer training, USCIS Citizenship classes and Entrepreneur training. We strive to eliminate food insufficiency through the Meals on Wheels Program, where we deliver hot meals to senior citizens and disabled adults in Groveland, Florida. We provide fellowship to prevent isolation among the elderly; community service project; parenting for single women with children and we engage in mission trips to provide humanitarian aid and training and development to poor and vulnerable orphans and widows overseas.
