Kidney Action Day is part of a national effort to increase awareness of kidney disease while encouraging individuals to get and stay healthy. The event will consist of an outreach and educational component including free health screenings, cooking demonstrations and samplings, fitness instruction, family friendly activities, and high media presence. We expect approximately 1000 attendees and hope to screen more than 300 people for kidney disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure. With your help we are confident that we will accomplish this goal.
