Thanks so much for your interest in supporting Arabic speaking youth at the Tenderloin Clubhouse of Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco. Volunteer activities include helping elementary and middle school aged Arabic speaking youth with their homework. Most of the youth are not proficient in English yet and really benefit from the support of Arabic speaking volunteers to translate and help them get through their homework. This is an extremely impactful volunteer opportunity where volunteers will play a big role in helping the youth reach their highest potential.
We ask that volunteers come one time a week on any day, Mon - Thurs, from 3:30 - 5pm. We also have a later volunteer time frame on Wednesdays from 5 - 6pm.
To learn more or sign up, please either express interest via Volunteer Match or by email to volunteer@kidsclub.org
Thanks so much for your support!

Description
Part of the community since 1891, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF) currently serves more than 1,800 youth (ages six-18) per day. We have more than 5,800 active members and serve more than 18,500 youth per year at 14 program sites-including eight Clubhouses located in the neighborhoods with the fewest resources, four school-based sites, one park, and Camp Mendocino - a 2,000-acre residential summer camp that provides a creative and fun outdoor experience for youth. We are open "when kids need us most" - after school, on most school holidays and during the summer. We offer safe places where young people can learn, grow, and succeed.
