Habitat Greater San Francisco is excited to announce our next Building Blocks event in East Palo Alto! During this three-day event, volunteers will help make critical repairs for long-time homeowners in East Palo Alto, a neighborhood that has been historically under-served. We particularly need help on Thursday, 7/19!
Volunteers will meet at MLK Park in East Palo Alto where you'll get acquainted with fellow volunteers and community members, receive your own Habitat t-shirt, and hear the tasks for the day. The scope of work will include rebuilding fences, repairing decks, painting houses, landscaping yards, installing flooring, and making other safety and accessibility improvements for long-time homeowners in East Palo Alto. Don't worry, no experience is necessary! Lunch will be provided.

Mission Statement
At Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, our mission is to provide local families with a springboard to bright, secure and stable futures through affordable homeownership.
Description
Habitat Greater San Francisco believes that everyone deserves a decent place to live. Although we are largely known for our new construction projects that make homeownership accessible to low-income families, we also work with existing homeowners to keep their homes by providing low-cost home repairs. Together with a caring community, generous donors, and dedicated staff, Habitat GSF works to help hard-working families build futures and the most vulnerable of our community age in place and preserve their legacy.
