Warren Village First Step* parents are required to attend a group Life Skills class each Tuesday evening, as a part of their program agreement. While they attend class, we offer free Childcare on-site, so that parents may attend class knowing their children are in good hands.
When: Tuesday Evenings, 6:15--8:00 PM
What: Volunteers provide care for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old. First Step is a smaller group of families, and volunteers will have the opportunity to work with the same group of children each time they volunteer. Evening childcare is a great volunteer opportunity for students, those with babysitting experience, people with childcare or education backgrounds, and anyone who loves working with children. Dinner is provided for volunteers!
Frequency: Flexible, at least once per month
*First Step is located across from Regis University

Description
Warren Village helps single parents write their own success stories. Warren Village is a two-year, transformational housing program for low-income, single-parent families. Our residential community and programs provide parents the tools they need to move from government assistance to personal and financial independence. As the the first program of its kind in the country, Warren Village provides an innovative mix of affordable housing, case management, on-site childcare, education and job training.
