Teams and individuals are invited to volunteer for Quality Control (QC) at Tarrant Area Food Bank's Distribution Center, where donated food products are sorted, inspected and repacked for distribution to a network of partner organizations in a 13-county area.
Individuals as young as 12 years old and may volunteer for QC. Children ages 12-13 require one adult chaperone for every 1 to 3 children volunteering. Kids ages 14-15 years old require one adult chaperone for every 1 to 10 youth. Because Tarrant Area Food Bank is concerned about the safety of all volunteers, there are no exceptions to this policy.
Volunteering for Quality Control make a BIG impact by helping to ensure that our neighbors in need receive safe, quality food.
