Please volunteer to help the Allen Special Olympics Delegation with our 24th Annual "Special Angels Among Us" Benefit Auction on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023. As our primary fundraising event, the proceeds from our annual auction will enable our special athletes to successfully participate in local and area Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) competitions.
The Auction will take place at the Allen John Q. Hammons Courtyard Marriott, 210 E. Stacy Road. Allen TX 75002.
There are many volunteers needed for the event: registration, table monitors, and check-out. Please visit our signup link below for more information and sign up to help with our "Special Angels Among Us". Thank you in advance for your consideration! Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Dress casually for our Boots and Bow Ties Country Fair theme.

The mission of the Allen Special Olympics Delegation is to provide year round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities: to provide these athletes continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy; to enable athletes to create new friendships, share their gifts with their family and the community.

Description

Allen Special Olympics Delegation provides year-round sports training, athletic competition and social opportunities to more than 150 athletes with intellectual disabilities, ages 8 through adulthood, in Allen, Fairview, and the surrounding areas.
