  4. Description: Come join the American Heart Association as they prepare for American Heart Month! The American Heart Association has collected more than 4,000 handmade red hats, which will be distributed to newborns throughout the month of February to help build awareness for congenital heart defects, which is the most common type of birth defect in the world. We need your help packaging the hats into take-home kits for new parents. The Little Hats, Big Hearts program is sponsored locally by Union Bank.

We team with millions of volunteers to fund innovative research, fight for stronger public health policies, and provide lifesaving tools and information to prevent and treat these diseases.
