We are one of the Austin Marathon's Charity Partners and part of that relationship involves us running one of the Aid Stations (where runners get water) during the event. Our station is at mile 20 and will be located at at Conley-Guerrero Senior Activity Center ( https://goo.gl/maps/j5HpmKFZC NC2) in Central East Austin. We need to recruit 40-50 per shift, so 80-100 people (although fewer if people sign up to do both shifts)! SHIFTS: First (3.5hrs, 7:00am - 10:30am; set-up and hand-ups) Second (3.5hrs, 10:00am - 1:30pm; hand-ups and tear-down) Both (7hrs, 7:00am - 1:30pm; all of the above) We will be providing breakfast for the 1st shift, lunch for the 2nd shift, and snacks for everyone! If you are interested helping with the Aid Station, please sign up on this Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/ d/1Tk_ 77fPlHpJfNrRv2QV6MsuuaGAnxlIwM muCggK8r4k

Mission Statement
Our primary mission is to develop youth who safely and expertly integrate bicycling into their daily lives, to teach participants self-sufficient cycling skills, and to facilitate the experience needed for youth cyclists to be peer leaders.
Description
Ghisallo Cycling Initiative is a local nonprofit that focuses on working with at risk youth to train and empower them as cyclist in their neighborhood. Here's a little bit about each of our programs:
- Bike Clubs: After school program where we provide bikes and ride with students to area destinations such as parks and rec centers, teaching and encouraging safe riding along the way
- Earn-a-Bike Program/ Bike Shop: Bike shop housed in the Boys & Girls Club where youth can earn a bike for working in the shop
- Community Bike Hubs: Shipping Containers that are outfitted to serve as a bike shop & bike storage space so that groups may check out bikes
- Bike Rodeos: Bike safety Clinics during PE time at area schools
- Golden Rollers : Provides an opportunity for adults aged 50 and older to engage in low-impact, tricycle-based recreation, exploration, and transportation
