Bike MS: Breakaway to Key Largo is one of the largest cycling events in the state of Florida. All funds raised go directly to support the vision and mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. "The National MS Society is working toward a world free of MS. We mobilize people and resources so that everyone affected by multiple sclerosis can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what been lost and end MS forever."
Bike MS starts at the FIU Stadium on Saturday, March 3rd; from there cyclists will ride down to the Key Largo Resorts/Village. On Sunday, they will make their way back to FIU.
We are looking for volunteers to support our cyclists by helping on Day 2 at Key Largo Village. Volunteer roles include Bike Storage, Volunteer Check-in, Registration/Packet Pick-up, Concierge, Food & hydration, Start Line Spirit Squad, Medical Team, Logistics/Clean-up Crew, and more. Some roles may require walking, lifting, or a background check. Requirements and shift times vary by volunteer role. We are looking for help from 5am -Noon, and we are always happy to work around your availability!

Description
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.
Seeking out and engaging volunteers to the MS cause is at the very core of our business. Each year the Society organizes a series of community events that provide many opportunities for the enthusiastic volunteer. The Society offers three key fundraising activities: The MS Bike Tour, MS Walk and MS Challenge Walk. The Society also engages volunteers to help influence law-makers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people with MS. The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
