Project HEAL is seeking an international co-ambassador in Osaka, Japan to help bring awareness of eating disorders and Project HEAL to Japan.

Some of the primary tasks involved in this role are:

• Educate local community about eating disorders, recovery, and body image via awareness events and presentations
• Work with the Director of Volunteer Services to schedule educational/awareness events within their local community
• Participate in organization-wide campaigns
• Contribute to Project HEAL's blog
• Build Project HEAL presence locally
• Ensuring the maintenance of Project HEAL’s primary mission and creating a continued vision of growth for the organization locally

The Project HEAL Ambassador role requires a 1-year commitment from volunteers. Additionally, this role requires approximately 2-3 hours per week of your time during non-event weeks and about 6-8 hours per week during weeks when hosting events.

This is a great opportunity for anyone in Japan with an interest in helping people affected by eating disorders and body image issues, as well as gaining additional leadership experience.
