This individual's primary responsibility will be to plan and manage all organizational events while working closely with members of the fundraising committee. Duties will include; coordinating volunteers, building relationships with vendors and overseeing successful event planning, while ensuring that the organization's mission and vision are met. Will also coordinate and schedule all planning meetings as needed. The individual(s) serving in this position must live in the Greater Washington, DC metro area.

Founded by a U.S. Army Veteran with almost 15 years of experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Grateful Heart will offer a wide variety of services; various counseling, job training & placement, as well as transitional and/or temporary housing to all Veterans of the Greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.
