Braid mentors work in teams of three to surround a young person in foster care with a community of love and support. They meet weekly as a team to do an activity with their youth just for fun. Some of our youth are in residence at Edgewood Center in the Sunset District; others are in foster care or placed with relatives, mostly in the Bayview and Visitacion Valley neighborhoods. Mentors can meet their youth near their homes or go on adventures around the city.
