Depending on your experience and preference we have opportunities for Animal Care Interns and Development Interns.
Animal Care: A great opportunity to learn about caring for pigs, cows, chickens, turkeys, and goats whilst spending time getting to know each of them individually. Get involved in their medical care, enrichment projects and day to day tasks

Development Intern: A great opportunity to support fundraising, social media, website design projects whilst supporting an important cause.

We rescue and rehabilitate abused and neglected farmed animals, education people to the benefits of a healthy vegan lifestyle, and promote sustainability.

Description

Uplands PEAK Sanctuary is Indiana's first farmed animal sanctuary established in 2012. PEAK recently moved to a much larger property with the vision of helping more animals in need through our rescue and education programs. The Grant Writer volunteer position is a unique opportunity to join the grassroots animal rights movement and continue to grow a top-notch sanctuary dedicated to the liberation of the most abused animals on the planet.
